'Thou shalt honour your father and your mother...'

'You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far. Let your bending in the Archer's hand be for gladness; For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.'
Khalil Gibran

Ima. Mãe. Mother. Moeder. Maman. Madre. Mater. Dona Maria, my mother, in her 80's.
She passed away last Saturday, May 18th, 2007.
She lived a long life. She had sons and daughters, which in turn gave her grand-sons and grand- daughters, which in turn gave her great-grand-sons and great grand-daughters. What can be better than a fruitfull life? Like the poem of Gibran says, "You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth".
